How to become Nominated COVE for Aerospace & Defence

Becoming a CoVE:

A Center of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) is an officially recognized organization that meets specific criteria for excellence in training, cooperation, and alignment with industry standards in a given sector (e.g., Aerospace and Defence).

The main roles of the COVE are:

  • Deliver high-quality, specialized training programs tailored to industry needs;
  • Engage directly with industry partners, research organizations, and other stakeholders to foster innovation and best practices;
  • Uphold stringent quality assurance principles and contribute to sectoral skill development;
  • Submit the application, as main training provider, on behalf of the network (i.e. the “knowledge triangle”).
  • Be part of a CoVE Network:

    Joining a CoVE network means becoming part of a collaborative ecosystem of CoVEs, industry partners, educational institutions, and research organizations that share best practices, resources, and opportunities.

    The main roles of a CoVE member are:

  • Collaborate with other members to enhance vocational training standards and align with industry requirements;
  • Contribute to the network’s initiatives, such as joint projects, events, and capacity-building programs;
  • Adhere to the network's principles and guidelines for cooperation.
