The /b>AILEEN project gained visibility and impact through its active participation as a side event at the momentous CEDEFOP 50th Anniversary Conference in Brussels, on the 27May 2025.
This high-profile gathering provided a EU platform for AILEEN to connect with key stakeholders and celebrate a half-century of shaping learning and skills for Europe.
AILEEN was represented at the conference by Adelaide Almeida from the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF) and Wim Verlinde from the Belgisch Instituut voor
Lastechniek | Belgian Welding Institute, which ensured direct engagement with attendees.
The conference, featured keynote addresses from EU Commissioners and Members of the European Parliament, alongside expert panel discussions with social partners and policymakers, created
an ideal environment for AILEEN to highlight its contributions to vocational excellence in aerospace & defence for advanced manufacturing.
AILEEN's involvement in such a significant European event, even as a side event, was crucial in raising awareness of the project's goals and achievements among a broad and influential
audience.
