The AILEEN project successfully hosted a dedicated dissemination event at HI Tech & Industry Scandinavia, Scandinavia’s
largest industrial and technology exhibition, on October 2, 2025, in Herning, Denmark.
The event, which was an official part of the fair's program and ran alongside the Danish Nationals in 3D Print, achieved
high visibility and fostered a crucial dialogue on the future of advanced manufacturing skills.
The event focused on exploring how collaboration between Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions and companies
can drive innovation, strengthen talent development, and prepare students for the future of Advanced Manufacturing (AM),
particularly its role in Aerospace and Defence.
The target audience was diverse and highly relevant, ensuring a dynamic atmosphere and valuable dialogue:
• VET Sector: Teachers and students participating in the DM in 3D Print.
• Industry Professionals: Company representatives and professionals working within AM and advanced production.
• Ecosystem Stakeholders: Visitors and stakeholders from the education, research, and innovation community.
Agenda and Strategic Discussions:
The event centered around a panel debate, moderated by Sofie Bindner of CenSec, which featured a diverse panel of five participants representing
VET institutions, industry, clusters, and innovation actors.
The discussions covered three key strategic topics:
• The Role of Additive Manufacturing in Future Production: Exploring AM's evolving function and necessary adoption strategies within the industrial landscape.
• Skills and Competencies for the Future Workforce: Identifying the specific skills and training required to meet the demands of advanced manufacturing.
• Strengthening EU Collaboration: Analyzing how companies can play a stronger and more effective role in both EU projects and vocational education initiatives.
The combination of an open fair setting and a professional audience ensured both visibility for the AILEEN project and a relevant dialogue on
how CoVEs can contribute to bridge the gap between education and industry, setting foundation for future collaboration within the
Scandinavian industrial ecosystem.
