The AILEEN project gathered 40 leading stakeholders at FORCE
Technology for its 2nd National Conference in Denmark. Bringing
together representatives from vocational education (VET), higher
education, industry, regional clusters, and research,
the event explored the evolving skills landscape in additive manufacturing,
advanced welding, and digital production.
Through forward-looking presentations, expert sessions, and interactive tours,
discussions focused on how rapid technological shifts are reshaping
industrial roles:
• Bridging the Industry-Education Gap: Keynotes
illustrated how emerging manufacturing technologies alter skill profiles—and
presented actionable strategies for educators to respond with agility.
• Direct Value via "Meet the Experts": Interactive
sparring sessions enabled attendees to address concrete industrial challenges
and share real-world best practices.
• Innovations in Action: A guided tour of FORCE
Technology’s state-of-the-art facilities offered participants a firsthand
look at advanced production setups in action.
Strengthening Networks & Flexible Training:
A clear takeaway emerged: building a resilient workforce requires
practice-oriented training and deeper co-creation between industry and
education. While the conference successfully connected key actors, expanding
direct industrial engagement remains a priority as training frameworks are
refined for market demands.
Overall, the event significantly elevated AILEEN’s presence in Denmark,
expanding local partnerships and strengthening the Danish Centre of
Vocational Excellence (CoVE) network. The insights gathered will directly
shape AILEEN’s high-impact competence development tools across Europe.
