AILEEN Concludes First Round of Pilot Courses and Prepares for Autumn Launch

The AILEEN project has successfully wrapped up its initial cycle of pilot training courses, marking a major milestone in empowering workforce talent across Europe's Aerospace and Defence sectors. Developed hand-in-hand with leading industrial experts and top educational institutions, these innovative courses merge cutting-edge technology with real-world applications to build the skills required for next-generation manufacturing.

Highlights from the First Pilots Cycle:
The initial phase delivered remarkable scale and impact, successfully training more than 200 participants across 17 specialized pilot courses.

Designed to meet high-level European defence standards, AILEEN's training is strategically aligned with the European Defence Agency (EDA) AM Village initiative and structured around the IAMQS (International Additive Manufacturing Qualification System)—providing learners with Europe-wide recognized certification. Constructive feedback gathered from these pilots will directly refine future course iterations, ensuring maximum long-term impact for this critical sector.

What’s Next? Expanding Training Opportunities (Sept – Dec 2026):
AILEEN consortium is already preparing for the 2nd cycle of specialized training courses, running from September to December 2026. Whether you are aiming to refine technical skills, gain certified expertise, or drive innovation within your organization, AILEEN offers structured pathways covering:
• Advanced Design & Production Processes: Master metal AM design, modern welding techniques, and specialized materials.
• Quality & Inspection: Ensure rigorous compliance through state-of-the-art testing and inspection methods.
• Digital Transformation & Sustainability: Embrace smart digital workflows and eco-friendly manufacturing practices for a greener future.
