AILEEN showcased aerospace and defence training at the Forum on Vocational Excellence 2026

From 7 to 9 September 2026, AILEEN participated in the Forum on Vocational Excellence in Graz, Austria, bringing aerospace and defence skills into the conversation with the wider Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) community. On 7 September, AILEEN was presented at the CoVE Captains meeting, where discussions focused on the sustainability of CoVEs and how their results could be used to create lasting impact.

The project was also showcased at the Vocational Excellence Exhibition, providing an opportunity to share AILEEN's work on aerospace and defence training with the wider CoVE community. During the “Challenge Accepted” workshop on 9 September, AILEEN presented how it integrated real industry challenges into advanced manufacturing training. Through investigation, teamwork, and practical problem-solving, this approach helped connect what learners studied with the challenges they would face in the workplace.

The forum provided a valuable opportunity to:
• Share AILEEN's Work: Presenting the project's contribution to aerospace and defence vocational training.
• Learn from Other CoVEs: Exchanging knowledge, experiences, and good practices with organisations committed to vocational excellence.
• Strengthen Partnerships: Exploring how collaboration between education and industry could create a lasting difference.
